Ralph signed laying down on his bed. His fist day of senior year didn’t go the way he would have preferred it to.
While others were pumped and excited over starting their last year of high school, Ralph wanted it to end as soon as it started. This year of school just didn’t ring with him. His best and only friend had moved over the summer, meaning Ralph needed to find someone else who shared his interest.
Ralph was into games and anime, something he and his best friend Justin bonded over. They spent their middle and high school years watching their favorite anime Yu-Gi-Oh! together and playing the game.
They both loved watching Yugi’s duels and the connections he made with his friends. It in turn helped bind their friendship. But still all good things had to come to an end. Justin’s parents got a job in Australia, limiting their friendship to only calls and texts.
Ralph opened up his laptop and logged into his Crunchyroll account. Looking up his favorite anime he saw all the other series,” Hmm, I’ve only watched a little of GX.” He lost his train of thought when he suddenly yawned.
“I’ll catch up on them this weekend. Maybe Justin..seen...themm......”
Ralph’s eyes closed causing him to drift to sleep. What he didn’t notice was the laptop screen beginning to glow.
