Sandy Bought It

"Oh, okay," she muttered distractedly, glancing around the room once again. "Just make sure you clean up this mess before I get back. I have to get back to your father he's already at the resort." With that, she turned and headed back out the door, leaving both Alex and Holly feeling slightly shell-shocked by the sudden turn of events.

For several minutes after Sandy had gone, neither of them spoke. Either Holly's mom was stupid, or she didn't care.
