"Pick me up!" Holly demanded.
Alex wasn't sure, he didn't want to hurt her.
"I'll be fine." She told him seeing his worried expression.
He sighed and leaned forward. He tried to be gentle and carefully lift her from the floor.
Did he start to cradle her like she was a real baby?
