A Little Crush On Him

"You've got to see this!," Holly said excited as she entered the room first.
"What is it?" the other girl in the hallway said.

"Just hurry up! You've got to see this!," the blonde in the doorway replied.
Alex swallowed, it had been worse with one giant girl. Now he'd be at the mercy of another girl.

"Melanie, meet Alex! My babysitter!," Holly smiled and gestured towards the shrunken teen as her friend entered the room.

The girl was about Holly's height, maybe an inch or two taller. Had long brown reddish hair, with a slight curl in it. She was wearing a bright purple dress with a star print.

Both the new girl and the shrunken teen looked at each other.
"Wow!" Melanie said, staring wide-eyed at Alex, her face turning red. "It's you..."

In return the shrunken teen swallowed hard. This was pretty awkward.
He recognized the name, but didn't expect it to be this Melanie. The Melanie who he used to babysit a few years back.

She isn't a mean girl, but she always had a crush on him. Alex always assured himself that it was just 'Puppy love'. She was too young to possibly have real feelings for him, plus he was too old for her. However, in his current situation, she might take advantage.

"Wait...you two know each other?" Holly said, scratching the top of her head.

"Yeah!" Melanie replied, a wide grin on her face. "We do!"

Before Alex could react the girl reached forward. In panic he tried to get away, but it was no use. The seven year old was much stronger and didn't let him escape her bear hug. It wasn't unpleasant, the teen had to admit, but he knew this was more than a friendly hug.

"I still like you. You were too big before, but now you're perfect," Melanie whispered into Alex's ear.

"This is so nice, now we're all friends here!" Holly said, oblivious to what just happened between her babysitter and best friend.

Holly...
