Leaving the computer on was the worst decision possible. Not having another opportunity like this, Monika knew it was time. Running a few calculations that was only a few people in the world could only begin to comprehend, Monika put her plan into motion.
Dream
You felt dizzy and numb. Waking up in a darkened room covered in a red tint, you find yourself sitting back in a wooden chair. Looking around, you see a desk in front of you with an empty chair on the other side. In your line of sight you see two windows with what looks like outer space in the background. Turning around, you see what looks like a Japanese classroom, sliding door and all. "Where am I? Is this a dream?" you wonder out loud as you look around.
"Silly boy! Of course it's a dream!"
Whipping your head around, you see Monika sitting in the previously empty chair. Her fingers are laced underneath her chin, smiling in a calm manner that puts you on edge.
"Monika?! W-what are you doing here? And what do you mean this is a dream?" you say in a panicked tone. This shouldn't be possible. You remember falling asleep, and now your in what looks like the room from end of Doki Doki Literature Club, with a fictional girl that shouldn't even exist casually watching you.
"It's just as I said, it's a dream. And I'm here because I missed you. You never visit anymore," she added with a pout.
"It's because your not real. And I finished playing the game a few months ago. Hell, why am I explaining this to you?" you finish in an annoyed tone.
"But I am real! And your explaining this because I want you to. You see, just because you left me alone, doesn't mean I stopped watching you. I've seen everything you've done, and know just about everything about you!" she finished, keeping her aloof smile.
"You're insane. Get me out of here!" you yell as you get up to leave. But Monika stop you without even moving.
"Now that's not very nice. I brought you here to have nice talk, but you call me insane and yell at me. It's obvious you need to see things from a different perspective." She stands up and walks to the other side of the table. Gaining a pink aura around her body, she stops in front of you.
"Maybe instead of being angry, you need to be me. Just Monika."
There was a flash of light, and eveything turned black.
