It took all of Dani's power to not yell at the teacher seeing her defeated girlfriend being stared at like a circus animal.

As people started going back to their own conversations Lauren never changed positions feeling paralyzed.

She was overwhelmed with being put on the spot then embarrassing herself.

Miss Patterson finally dismissed the room starting to feel bad having watched Lauren for most of the time.

"Lauren come on. We have to go." Dani tried to get Lauren to even move besides breathing.

"What is wrong with her?" Miss Patterson asked concerned after ten minutes of failure out of Dani.

"Her coping mechanism isn't healthy." Dani pointed out knowing this was Lauren's.

Lauren wanted the world to disappear. She wanted to open her eyes and be by herself where she could get angry but no she was the sweet girl.
