Charizard helps Ash back to town

Scooping their trainer up, Charizard ascended up into the air. Taking care to not accidentally drop Ash in the process, a tiny part of them felt like a mother of sorts. Only fair after all their trainer had done for them over the years.
 
Intoxicating as such a thought was here, it was one that they pushed to the back of their mind for the moment.
 
"Char." they announced as they slowed their descent. Town now awaiting below, Charizard could make out both a Pokemon Center and a clothing store. Oddly, their arrival above had done little to raise any alarm bells (for better or worse).
 
All the more reason to land and figure this mess out...
