Chapter #3

Surviving Through the Weekend

    by: Icarus Author IconMail Icon
Once everyone was composed enough to work together, you all gathered. Sean took on a leadership role, though your group was clearly working decently as a psuedo-democracy. You split up into four groups of three, and check different parts of the school. It seems like no one else was left. You guys were all alone in these massive halls.

You had all decided to meet up at the cafeteria once done scouting. It was easy enough to find food that you could eat from for the weekend. It's not like you all ate that much at your new size. Finding somewhere to sleep was a little tougher. You eventually discovered a backpack that was left behind. It was on its side, zipper open. A home ready to be made. So you all took trips carrying food back to the backpack so you could use it as a temporary hideout until Monday.

Passing the weekend was difficult. Time really dragged on, since so much of the world was shut off to you since you couldn't reach anything. Even formerly short distances felt more like miles now. Most of your time was spent together, talking, getting to know each other better, playing games. It was all you could do to pass the time. Once Sunday night rolled around, everyone was nearly too excited to sleep. You all stayed up extra late, and eventually even the sturdiest of you passed out due to exhaustion.

--------------------------------------------------------------

You awoke to Briana shaking you awake. You open your eyes, bleary.

"Huh..?" you mutter, looking around. Despite the lip of the backpack being mostly closed, the light that did manage to filter in was very bright. That wasn't sunlight, that was the bright overhead artificial lights. Oh yeah!

Monday morning! You sat up, noticing that those already awake were waking those harder to get up. Soon you were all awake, and formulating. Will took a peek outside your little backpack home. The digital clock display that hung from the ceiling in the middle of the hall read 7:06 am. Classes weren't too far from starting. Your plan to get help needs to go into action soon. Thankfully, the backpack was really close to a nearby classroom, so help wouldn't be far. Either you could get lucky, and get a teacher's attention, or you could get the attention of another student and have them bring you to a teacher for help. Either way, help would be had for the twelve of you. You would be returned to your normal heights.

What room was your bag-hideout outside of?

You have the following choices:

1. One of the history classes.

*Noteb*
2. One of the math classes.

*Noteb*
3. The gym.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
