"What?": Ryuji asked, annoyed. He sort of wanted to hear his own voice again, and none others.
"Make sure you lie on the bed first in case I pass out." was all she said.
"Can do," Ryuji replied, relieved, as he flopped down on her mattress before clicking transfer back to his own body.

In the blink of an eye, Ryuji was suddenly across town, back in his own body. It seemed like he was on the subway train to Shibuya, dressed casually for the summer heat. Losing a day of his own life was definitely a strange reality to come to terms with, but it seemed like everything was fine while he was out in Futaba's body. As far as his texts told him, nothing significant had happened.
'I'll hit up the arcade for a bit of normality...'
As the thought came to him, the train itself came to a halt at his stop. He hopped off, and made his way to his usual hangout spot.

"Still not anywhere near the King, huh?" Ryuji murmured as he put away the controller of a shooting game. He'd hoped that all the Metaverse battles would improve his aim, but there was no such luck. In truth, his mind was still on that app, and the fact that he and Futaba seemingly took down Medjed together while sharing her body. It wasn't easy to jump straight from that back to his own day to day, even with Metaverse training.
He looked to his phone, the app still there. Would Futaba wake up and explain things soon? Would she want Ryuji to share the details of the app? Ryuji would rarely admit it around others, but he knew he wasn't that smart of a guy. However, even he was able to take down an international hacktivist group with Futaba doing some backseat driving. He sort of wanted her judgement on the matter before he started using it more or telling other people about it.
