Character 1:
Ken was devastated when Wormmon disappeared. Maybe when finding him as a baby he decided to punish himself for all the digimon he had turned to babies. And what better way than he exposed to the same treatment.

Character 2:
Being in America meant he didn't get to be a part of the main crew, but Wallace was still a really interesting character that should have been expanded on. With so much we don't know about the blond farmer boy the possibilities are endless.
