*The HMS Hood was the last battleship built for the British Royal Navy and named after Admiral Samuel Hood. When WWII started, she was deployed in Iceland for several months, hunting down German commerce runners and blockade runners. In May 1941, She and the Prince of Wales were ordered to hunt down German battleship Bismarck and heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen. However, early within the Battle of Denmark Strait, Hood was destroyed by several shells from Bismarck.*
