1. Rick's anger issues are out of control, so the rest of the team decides to shrink him until he learns to control himself. Now he is tiny in the care of the three women of the new JSA: Courtney, Beth, and Yolanda.
2. Rick invites Beth to the pit stop to help him decode his father's journal. But somehow he shrinks, leaving him trapped on the desk chair just as an unaware Beth arrives.

Courtney Whitmore, as the leader of the new JSA is worried that Rick might not be up to the challenge of defeating Solomon Grundy, utilizing the Cosmic Staff to shrink him to the size of a Gummy Bear so he can face opponents on the same level, starting his training as an insole for her red, white, and blue knee-high sneakers while she works out as Stargirl.
4. Rick shrinks while at school, forced to dodge the falling footsteps of his classmates, including Cindy and Courtney after they have a small disagreement in the halls. Then, after they leave, he’s left with one choice, climbing Yolanda during her next class to get her attention.
