In an effort to improve the public image of S.T.A.R Labs, Iris west decided to use her new position at Central City Picture News to interview Caitlin about a new project she had been working on with Cisco and Ray Palmer.
The two women met inside Caitlin’s private lab to discuss the societal implications of the project and all the good it could do for the world.
“…you see Iris, this project will revolutionize the way we look at travel, transportation, agriculture, and so much more.” Caitlin stated excitedly.
“Oh wow, you’re positive that it can do all that?” Iris replied, her energy matching Caitlin’s as she thought to herself that this interview could be good not only for S.T.A.R Labs reputation but her future career as a reporter.
“Yes, for example a shipping container takes about fifteen to twenty-five days to ship from China into the United States before it’s even delivered to its destination. However, using this device, we are actually able to reduce the amount of matter a shipping container is made of without compromising the structure, thus making it smaller, lighter, and easier to transport.” Caitlin explained, using a real world scenario in her anecdote.
“Wait, are you talking about a shrink ray?” Iris responded, suspending her disbelief after seeing some of the things she’d witnessed over the past few months.
“Yes and no. While the device is capable of shrinking objects, that’s the the only thing it’s capable of. Matter can’t be destroyed or created, but it can be moved around and restructured by science using the device we’ve created.” Caitlin started to explain, deciding that a demonstration might be more effective at getting her point across.
She reached into her lab coat pocket and pulled out what appeared to be a stainless steel pen, at least, that’s what it looked like to Iris.
“This is the device we’ve spent the last five months working on, we wanted it to be as compact and portable as possible, and most importantly we didn’t want it to look like a weapon.” Caitlin smiled, feeling pride in their invention.
“A pen?” Iris asked skeptically, finding it hard to suspend her disbelief any longer.
“Observe,” Caitlin smiled softly, nonchalantly pointing the device at an old desk she’d left out for this specific demonstration.
She pointed the device towards the desk and in a flash of light it appeared to vanish right before Iris’s eyes.
However, as her eyes looked to the floor she could see that the desk had actually shrunk, just like Caitlin advertised. It was almost the size of a golf ball.
“As you can see Iris, by removing 90% of an object’s mass and condensing the other 10%, we’re able to shrink objects to 2% of their natural size…” Caitlin explained as she stood up from her chair and walked around the diminished desk so it stood between Iris and Caitlin.
“…And by condensing that 10% we also make the object, significantly more durable, allowing it to be transported without fear of being damaged. Observe.” Caitlin smiled, as if this was the moment in the interview she was most excited for, lifting her heel above the tiny desk and bringing it back down without any visual restraint.
Iris flinched instinctually, imagining the desk being flattened into a pancake under the wide part of Caitlin’s high heel. But to her surprise, Caitlin’s foot appeared to stop about an inch from the floor as she pulled to footwear back to reveal the unscathed desk.
“Wow, that’s incredible Caitlin!” Iris exclaimed, unable to hide her interest. Now if only her jeans were that durable.
The two women wrapped up the interview and decided to celebrate with a night out at a local nightclub Iris really liked, partially because it was opened by Oliver Queen to help cover his numerous trips to Central City. Fast forward through the night and both girls had taken a few drinks and done a few shots together.
Caitlin paid her tab early, not wanting a repeat of the “Summer Nights” incident with Barry earlier that year. But as she reached into her coat pocket for a pen to leave a tip, she accidentally grabbed the shrinking device.
Not being sober, she didn’t realize this mistake till it was too late, leaning over the counter and clicking it, her eye’s going wide as she felt the familiar sensation of the mechanisms being triggered.
She tried to think of something she could do to save herself from the impending danger, they hadn’t even proceeded to human testing yet. That is, until Caitlin accidentally volunteered herself to be a human guinea pig.
In a flash of light, Caitlin felt her body sinking back into her seat as she tumbled down into the imprint of her own right butt cheek after being sat in her seat for the past hour.
Iris who was looking the other way when this was happening, noticed the flash of light a was able to register that Caitlin had used the device on something, turning around to see her friend’s chair was empty, with the shrinking device resting on the counter in plain view.
“Caitlin? Where’d you go?” Iris asked, her voice booming over Caitlin as she watched the now-gigantic ebony woman’s face swing into view.
“Holy crap! Iris‽ Iris, down here!” Caitlin exclaimed, taken back by her friend’s new size as she loomed overhead. Meanwhile, Caitlin was barely over an inch tall.
Iris couldn’t hear Caitlin over the pulsing club music, although she did notice the faint movement of something on the chair next to her.
She lowered her face as her eyes crossed over her nose, unable to believe what she was seeing.
“Is that, Caitlin‽” Iris said, looking around to make sure nobody was watching her before she reached down to pick up the tiny scientist.
“Yes, thank god you noticed me. Now, it should be simple enough for you to change me back. Just pick up the device and-Aaahhh!!” Caitlin yelp a scream as Iris’s fingers pinched her leg, hoisting her into the air. Dangling upside down from her drunken friend’s fingertips in front of her face.
“Oh I get it, you wanted to give me another demonstration. Wow, you must really be confident about your project if you used it on yourself. Although, I don’t think shrinking yourself on a chair was the best idea. You might not last long if I sat on you.” Iris laughed, finding the idea of a tiny Caitlin squirming under her ass to be a humorous one.
“What‽ I didn’t shrink myself so you could sit on me! It was an accident! Can you even hear me?” Caitlin asked, getting the sinking feeling that her time shrunken down wasn’t going to be pleasant.
“You’re way to sm-small to understand over the music, you’re like a b-bug. But don’t worry, that gives me an i-idea.” Iris slurred her words a little, reaching down and unzipping one of her knee-high boots.
“What‽ I am not a bug! And wh-what are you do?” Caitlin asked, becoming increasingly concerned as she watched Iris remove her boot, holding her body close to the entrance, the warmth and slight odor of Iris’s footwear rising to greet her.
“Hehe, this is where bugs go. Under my feet. We can test your durability while I go dancing.” Iris revealed, causing Caitlin’s heart to drop and race as she pictured herself spending the night under an active Iris’s foot.
“What‽ No! Put me down! Put! Me! Down!” Caitlin exclaimed, a poor choice of words as Iris released her ankle, allowing her friend to tumble down into her towering boot, landing on her chest on top of the damp insole.
“Damn it, I’m actually inside her boot! I can’t believe she just did that!” Caitlin huffed, standing up to see Iris was wasting no time in getting her under her foot as her socked toes wiggled through the entrance.
With nowhere else to go, Caitlin stood up and ran towards the toe of the boot, hoping to avoid being smashed under Iris’s heel as her surroundings became increasingly dark.
Then she was tackled from behind by her friends toes, causing her to roll onto her back in a last ditch effort to fight them off. But it did little good, as they effortlessly steamrolled her into the insole, providing extra comfort to Iris’s socked sole.
“I hope you’re comfy down there, cause it’s about time we hit the dance floor.” Iris cheered, throwing her hands over her head as she rolled her hips with each step she took.
Luckily for Caitlin, the song playing at the club wasn’t too intense, so Iris’s dance movements remained simple for the time being.
However, even the most straightforward dance movements, like short steps, bouncing on her toes, and twisting her foot became a big problem for Caitlin as her face was pressed into and molded to the shape of Iris sock as the fabric clung to her skin. Unable to catch her breath for even a moment as the building sweat assaulted her tastebuds every time she opened her mouth to breathe.
Unfortunately, all Caitlin could do was lay there and take the onslaught as Iris’s feet moved faster, synchronized with the rising beat up club music as they finally reached the drop.
Meanwhile, Iris was impressed by the amount of punishment Caitlin could endure as she continued to hold back less and less, until her moments were completed unrestrained.
And before long, Iris was repeatedly dropping her full weight onto Caitlin’s, minuscule body, barely able to feel her now that she’d grown accustomed to stomping on her.
Maybe she needed to challenge her limits a bit more?
How will Iris proceed?
1. Iris thinks that Caitlin has only been supporting half her weight under a single foot, so she brings her back to the bar to try sitting on her with her full weight.
2. A song with a much faster pace comes on, causing Iris to jump and stomp so hard that Caitlin actually passes out, waking up the next morning splayed across a sleeping Iris's socked foot.
3. Iris's feet are feeling sore from dancing, so she decides to test how being tiny has affected Caitlin's ability to give a foot rub by bringing her into the VIP lounge(Which Oliver put her, Barry, Cisco and Caitlin on the list for. She drops her on the table and slams her feet down, telling her to get to work.
