1. While making adjustment to the batsuit to better fit Kate and her needs, Luke is shrunk by a defense mechanism built into the suit that delivers an electric shock. Kate soon after enters the room, wanting to try on her new and improved suit, trapping Luke against her skin(butt).
2. Alice steals a prototype shrinking device from Palmer Technologies, hoping to shrink Kate down to the size of a bug and better control her estranged sister. However she comes across Luke first, testing the device on him and bringing him to Mary's clinic soon after joking that he could "use a doctor", purposely leaving him on a chair to be sat on by the Asian Socialite.
