Oliver fully expected his sister's hand to come down on him like a fly swatter, flattening him into a smear on the counter. Instead, he was relieved to instead take a hit from the side, sending him off of the counter entirely. As he flew through the air, dazed and confused, he fumbled for his bow, hoping to find a grappling arrow to save him from colliding into the hard apartment floor. There weren't any. Panicking, he realized there was nothing he could do to control his trajectory. Looking down, he hoped to see himself headed for a soft landing, like the couch or a plant. Instead, he saw something that might have been worse than the floor: the opening to his sister's boot. Unable to redirect his path in any way, he could do nothing but plummet headfirst into the beckoning boot, belly flopping into the inside with a quiet squelching noise as his impact squeezed some lingering sweat out of it.
"Bullseye," Thea said to herself, smirking as she headed towards her waiting boot. Unknowingly, Oliver's dropped communicator was laying on the floor, right in her path. And Felicity was still trying to use it in vain.
"Oliver? Oliver! Come in Oliver!" Felicity yelled, trying to find any sign that Oliver was nearby.
All she heard in response was Thea's stomping feet, getting closer and closer. She could hear the slam as the ball of her foot struck the ground, plus the little auxiliary taps as her toes struck down. Thea was a thin girl, walking barefoot. The thought that her footsteps could cause earthquakes like that made Felicity realize just how truly tiny Oliver must be. Felicity couldn't help but cringe as the feet got closer, fully expecting to hear a crunch as the communicator was snuffed out of existence. But luckily, Thea narrowly missed the discarded device, allowing Felicity to hear what came next.
"So how do you like it in my boot little Arrow?" Thea said, getting closer now to the boots that were imprisoning Star City's superhero. "They're probably a little smelly. I've been wearing them all day for pretty much the whole week."
As Oliver laid on his stomach, face down on the insole of his sister's giant boot, he fully believed they had been well worn. The cave he found himself in reeked of foot sweat. He groaned in pain as he pushed himself up on to his knees. He patted his chest, ensuring no ribs had broken on the impact. Like it or not, his sister's boot had decent padding. He could feel the insole beneath him vibrating though, in time with the echoing thumps of his sister's footsteps from outside.
"If you think it's bad now, wait till I put them on. You're going to have to wrestle my toes just to find some living space." Thea said with a laugh.
He knew she was getting close but had no idea what to do next. He turned to the opening of the boot, knowing it was the only escape and could see one of Thea's lamps, like a shining beacon saying "Freedom this way." But as he pondered how to actually reach that high above the opening, Thea's face suddenly appeared over the opening. Her head obscured much of the light Oliver had been getting, leaving him only able to see a dimly illuminated version of her cruelly grinning face.
Oliver fell back in surprise as his little sister's face suddenly appeared over the boot, grinning madly down at him. "Oh wow, I can barely see you in there. I wonder if I'll even be able to feel you under my foot." Thea teased, loving the power rush. Her words echoed inside the boot, nearly deafening Oliver.
"Let me out of here right now Thea!" Oliver yelled, still unwilling to reveal his identity to his sister.
"What's that? You're scared of a little girl's feet? Well then maybe you shouldn't go breaking into people's apartments. Luckily, I think we can help you get past your fear with a little exposure therapy." Thea said, before standing up to her full height. Her face was now seemingly two hundred feet over the boot opening, making it clear just how tiny Oliver really was. And yet none of that compared to the sight of her bare foot appearing over him, toes wiggling excitedly as they hung over the entrance to the boot. They were ready to play with their new toy.
Oliver began to run as his sister's toes began their descent, like a stampede coming right for him. Unfortunately, Thea anticipated this and tipped her shoe back as she slid the boot on. As she did, Oliver's run went from flat, to uphill, to a full-on climb. And without anything to grip on the smooth insole of the boot, he found himself sliding helplessly down towards the incoming avalanche of wiggling toes.
His descent only stopped when the ball of her foot touched down right in his path as her toes arced up over him. When her foot settled in, he was trapped face down against the insole of her shoe while her giant toes kept him restrained. He tried to push himself up off the disgusting ground, but her toes forced him back down with an effortless flex. There were five fleshy arches built around him, creating an unliftable ceiling of sisterly foot flesh.
"Ooooh, you feel good under my toes little guy," Thea said, smiling as she felt the weak squirming beneath her toes. "I wonder how long you can hold up under there though?" She had sat down on the couch to pull her boot on, but now was the moment of truth. She rose to her feet, allowing her weight to roll from her heels, to the balls of her feet, and finally to her toes.
Oliver shouted as his sister's toes tightened their grip, but his only audience was the cruel digits inflicting his torture. He felt he weight bearing down on him more now, and saw the ball of her foot on his left sink down into the insole, leaving no visible space between them. He was glad he hadn't ended up under there, not sure if he could survive his sister's full weight.
Satisfied that the screaming meant he was still alive, Thea took a few trial steps across her apartment, gingerly at first, but when she was convinced that he could take it, she began to walk normally.
Nothing about the situation was normal for Oliver though. Every one of his sister's footfalls was an event to him. Every smack of her foot against the ground felt like a tidal wave slamming him into a rocky cliff. Except with the foot, the wave didn't stop. Once he was up against the insole wall, it didn't fall away. It pressed and pressed as hard as it could, trying to flatten him and squeeze him and destroy him. As her foot pressed into him, he was glad he wasn't any smaller. If he had been small enough, a stomp of her foot could have pushed him into a pore on her sole, dooming him to a life as the underside of a foot.
As Thea walked across the apartment, 100% of her focus was on her new toe toy. She didn't even notice the communicator she stepped on, eradicating it from existence with a barely audible crunch.
Felicity heard the crunch loud and clear, followed by static as the communicator went offline. She could not believe what she had just heard. Oliver was trapped in his sister's boot, being used as an insole for the young girl. At least she knew he was alive by the way Thea had been talking to him. She had to go save him, and fast. Who knows what Thea would do if she got bored with playing with him under her toes. Felicity immediately hopped out of her chair and headed to the elevator, wanting to catch Thea as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Thea was still enjoying her new foot toy. Gleefully, she squeezed him with her toes and lifted her foot a bit inside her shoe, pushing him forward all the way up to the toe of her boot. This wasn't her taking pity on him though. She just wanted to be able to play with him a bit more dexterously.
Oliver was relieved for a moment to have been pushed forward, thinking he'd have less of his sister's weight to contend with. That is until his sister's toes sprang into action. Now that he was at the toe of her boot, the pads of her toes were upon him. His head was right under her big toe, which wasted no time pressing down on his face. He felt the calloused underside of her toe scrape across his face as it literally rubbed in just how completely she dominated her new boot pet.
"I like how your little face feels under my toe. If you don't get squished tonight, maybe I'll have you give me a foot rub in the morning. Your little body could hit so many sore spots." Thea teased.
Just when Oliver felt like the pressure of her toe was going to break his nose, Thea relented, just before her talon-like toes reclaimed his body and pulled him back under them, snug under their arches where he belonged.
"The only question now is what you and I should do together next?"
What happens?
1. Thea lounges around her apartment, toying with Oliver under her toes until Felicity drops in.
2. Thea heads out to Verdant for some working and dancing, confident her new insole will support her.
3. Thea takes Oliver out of her boot, trying to decide what to do next. When Felicity arrives, she places him on a chair and allows Felicity to unknowingly sit on him.
