Holding you closer to her sole

You glimpse a mischievous look on her face from between her toes. She quickly pushes you totally underneath her foot, out of sight from the rest of the classroom and in total darkness, as the substitute teacher walks down the aisle. You try to wiggle free, but that does nothing.

You hear the thunderous steps as the teacher walks nearby, droning on about something. She clearly knows the material but doesn’t yet know how to talk lecture engagingly, causing the students to have mostly checked out.

You can tell Carmen is planning something. The question is when.
