Food Frenzy

In recent memory, Daisy couldn’t think of a single time that she was able to enjoy herself. “Work. Work. Work. That’s all I’ve been doing,” she sighed, somewhat exhausted already from only thinking about it. Being a Princess of Sarasaland isn’t as easy and luxurious as everyone thinks it is. Signing royal decrees, addressing the public, so on and so fourth. Daisy felt like there needed to be something somewhere in this hotel where she could enjoy herself. Daisy traveled from her room to the lobby in hopes of something exciting happening.
And then...
“Something smells great.” Daisy turned on her heel then slowly inched forward, closer towards the source of the attracting aroma. She followed the scent down a short corridor to be met with a pleasant surprise.
“Oh my-!”
A grand buffet hall filled with food from around the world. The buffet spanned to the size of a castle foyer with every inch of appropriate space holding enormous amounts of food. Daisy is quick to succumb to the urge to eat and grabbed a tray which she piled succulent cuts of meat, buttered bread, creamy soups, and more on top. Daisy had never been one to closely watch what she ate, unlike Princess Peach, surely she would enjoy the food far more than anyone else.
During her feast, she couldnt bother to slow herself down since the demand to taste more overcame her senses, “...That is good...” Daisy huffed, she snatched a large bite of a turkey leg and dove right back in.
After what seemed to feel like an hour, Daisy managed to satisfy her hunger. She rested back in her chair with one hand gently rubbed her turgid stomach.
Just then, Daisy’s nose picked up a sweet scent. A scent so strong that she no longer felt full instead feeling hungry and curious. She turned to see rows of freshly baked pastries: cakes, pies, donuts, eclairs, set out on the buffet tables.
Princess Daisy helped herself to a few slices of cake and fed herself by hand. The cake tasted incredibly rich, downright bursting with unique flavor. Each slice pushed Daisy’s stomach to the limit, however she couldn’t stop herself from cramming more into her mouth.
“I’m going to love it here...I wonder what other stuff this place has.”
