It was currently 8am at Wilko in the north of England. It looked like any other day. Everybody was supposed to be working, but they all had their phones out installing the latest social media app, SwApp.
Although it was 8am in the UK, it was midnight over in Silicon Valley, where the App was developed. And nearly everybody across the world was installing the App on the midnight launch.
SwApp was a social media app that imported your contacts from your other social media accounts. But it was different to other social media accounts. It allowed users to swap body parts with people in their contacts list. Few people understood how it worked, frankly most people didn't care. Who knows how a TV works, right?
There were lots of options on SwApp, you could swap parts permanently or temporarily by setting a time limit before parts would swap back by themselves.
The body parts list you could swap were as follows:
- Left foot.
- Right foot.
- Left leg.
- Right leg.
- Pelvis / Hips / Buttocks.
- Genitals (Penis and balls / vagina).
- Torso.
- Pecs / Breasts.
- Left arm.
- Right arm.
- Left hand.
- Right hand.
- Head.
SwApp allowed you to swap parts in three ways:
1. You can message a friend and tell them exactly what you want to swap.
2. Closed market allowed the user to advertise a body part and anybody in their friends list could help themselves.
3. Open market allowed the user to advertise a body part and anybody in the world could help themselves (remember to set a time limit if you're going global).
"Damnit, this App is taking forever to install!" Blurted the ever angry Charlotte.
"Duh... everyone and their mum is installing this App, the network is clogged!" Quipped Steven sarcastically.
Charlotte snapped back. "You're such a nerd Steven."
"Alright, everybody get to work!" Demanded the shift supervisor Liz, tapping her foot in impatient frustration, while hippocritically not taking her own eyes off of her phone.
