Groaning, Jake's eyes slowly opened up as he looked forward, seeing what he saw in front of him before he fell asleep, only he felt lower. He figured he must have slid down a bit in his sleep and tried to sit back up straight. He did, but everything still looked like it was higher. Then he turned and saw the armrest of the couch. Only now it looked as tall as a mountain. His senses coming fully back, he stood up and turned around seeing that he was standing on the couch, but he himself had shrunk down. The cushions that he had not too long ago pressed his back into had suddenly become the equivalent of Mount Everest.
"Okay. Okay Jake just calm down." He said trying not to panic. "This is just a dream. That beer Stephanie gave me must have been stronger than I thought."
Deciding to test his theory, he raised a hand and brought the palm to his own face slapping himself. It wasn't a dream. The pain felt too real. Which meant this too, was actually happening. He had shrunk.
"What the hell is happening?" He thought aloud again. "What did I even do? All I did was come in and Steph gave me......that beer."
It hit him like a sack of bricks. This was Stephanie's doing it. It had to be. But what was he supposed to do about it now? All it would take was a light breeze and he could go flying to who knows where. Then footsteps were heard coming closer to the couch. Jake saw one of Stephanie's friends come to the couch wanting to sit down and rest her feet.
