With all this irritation happening in his body, Zane snorts deeply to try and get rid of whatever is irritating him...
Because of this Jake becomes airborne and tumbling like the particles entering these caves. To his horror, he finds the gale so powerful that he gets sucked down into a large chamber. A door of flesh opens and down he goes, travelling with the air towards the lungs. Before him, Zane's vocal cords open wide and loudly hum in the wind.
Zane's vocal cords open up like a gate, welcoming this new stranger that has fallen down the nostrils and deeper into the respiratory tract. Any light of day for Jake fades. Maybe Zane is eating or drinking something and getting ready to swallow, as a valve at the top of the windpipe slams shut. For a moment, Jake starts from getting carried along by the inhalation to uncontrolled free fall. The descent continues down Zane's neck, splitting off into a junction. The tiny man simply bounces off the wall to the left and continues to ricochet once a second gust reenters the tubes. Jake bounces further and further though the tubes, which now get smaller and smaller.
Enough is enough. After one last bounce off a tube junction, Jake reaches around with one arm and wraps it around the other side. He locks it with all his strength, buying him enough time to reach out with the other arm and dig into the tube lining with his feet. Even though he's secured against the wall, the gale doesn't stop. The hurricane-like gusts blast past his face, then go out in the other direction and hit his ass. He must've gone down Zane's windpipe so far that he is now in one of his lungs. It must be a good thing he stopped his fall here. The tubes will continue to get smaller - way too small for Jake and he could get stuck!
Zane's heartbeat echoes in stereo through the windy caves. Jake must be really deep in his chest. Maybe his lungs have good acoustics or he is closer to it than he imagined. Ether way, the deafening breaths dampen out the rhythmic noise of the organ. Jake holds steadfast as he feels the air trying to pull him deeper and push him out, but then something punctuates this cycle inside Zane...
