Jake doesn't have long to stare at the person in the desk before they suddenly jump up from their chair. Falling over in surprise, Jake quickly pushes himself back up in time to see the girl at the desk run over to her dresser. She still looks a little familiar, but Jake can't seem to remember her name. After looking at herself in the mirror, the girl begins to apply some makeup to her face, brushing it over her cheeks and her sharply upturned nose.
"Hey, Brianna!" comes a voice from outside the door, startling both Jake and the girl. He can tell immediately that it's Stephanie, and upon hearing the name Brianna he does recognize the girl somewhat. They don't know each other terribly well, but Jake is pretty sure they've at least met.
"I'm almost done! Just a sec!" Brianna replies, turning back to her mirror. She brushes a bit more makeup onto her nose and giggles at herself. Meanwhile Jake realizes he doesn't have a ton of options. Maybe he should just stay put and hope he's dreaming. Brianna might be of some help, but there's always a risk with Stephanie's friends...
