Stephanie continued squeezing her pencil in her hand until her knuckles were white. She just didn't know what to do. As she thought, she absently wrinkled her nose again as Jake's subtle movements tickled her slightly. Stephanie puckered her lips and wiggled her nose back and forth, and once she realized what she was doing, her eyes widened as she began to formulate a plan. Standing up from her desk, Stephanie walked over to her wardrobe and threw it open. She pushed past her clothes until she found a ridiculous and colorful feather boa. Stephanie wasn't really sure why she still had this thing. She only ever wore it once as a joke, and she never had any plans to wear it again, but she supposed she was glad to have it now. Starting to smile, Stephanie grabbed a single feather and pulled it off of the boa.
"Be careful, Jake," said Stephanie, twirling the feather between her fingertips. "You're tickling my nose."
"What?" Jake asked, genuinely confused. Before he could figure out what his sister meant, what Jake could only describe as a giant pink tree suddenly burst in through the opening of the nostril. It only took Jake a second to realize what Steph was doing, and it became obvious that she had called his bluff.
"You wouldn't," Jake mumbled, far too quiet for his sister to hear. She seemed to respond anyway as she began to wave the feather up and down, gently tickling the inside of her nostrils.
Stephanie wrinkled her nose and squeezed her eyes shut as she began to stir up the urge to sneeze. The inside of her nostril tickled horribly, though she wasn't ready just yet. She took a deep breath, causing her head to tip back, and once she regained control of herself she only tickled more intensely.
