While heading towards his classroom, Shuichi noticed some people from the other classes passing near him. Before he could even question where they were going, Shuichi was pulled by a taller individual "There you are, bro! I´m surprised you didn´t show up ´til now." two girls approached Shuichi and his partner in the middle of the hoard of students "Kaito...wait, where are we going?" Before Kaito could answer, Kaede went next to the detective prodigy "Good thing you´re here, Shuichi, our teacher just informed us that we´re going to see a presentation at the lab, and looks like the other classes from our year are coming too.".
All the ultimate students from the second year joined inside the laboratory. After getting themselves set, the students peered at two individuals, one of them from a higher grade, known as the Ultimate Geneticist and the Ultimate Neurologist. They spoke about an experiment that they had been developing together to help explore the mental capability of the human mind. It was quite long. Some of the students fell asleep during the exhibition and Shuichi got used to seeing Maki forcefully wake Kaito while accidentally glimpsing.
The presentation was over, some students were getting ready to leave or complaining about how boring it was with someone. Shuichi planned to meet with his friends before taking a glance at no other than Monokuma. Who even had let him inside? Everyone in the school knew the robotic bear was nothing but an annoying pest. In this case, Monokuma was messing with some of the chemicals shown during the presentation and had a large chance of harming someone. Shuichi also saw the bear talking to someone he knew.

"Shuuuumai! Come join us!" "Hey! Don´t call HIM here! He´s going to ruin our plan!" Shuichi hurried to the two, he knew both Kokichi and Monokuma would be up to no good "What are you two doing this time?" the short purple-haired boy grinned "Nothing much, just messing acids that we were shown to during that boring exhibition, were gonna need them later" "WHAT?! Wait...we were told that the experiment didn´t require anything acerbic" Kokichi kept his weird smile "Alright, you got me, but we still wanna see what these things do" "That´s right" Monokuma snatched the chemical from Kokichi. Before the two boys could react, he had also taken the first thing he saw, which was a glass containing something that both Shuichi and Kokichi couldn´t fully comprehend at first, however, Shuichi noticed that the glass was labeled but, before the detective could take a better look, Monokuma ran farther from the two "Now then, let´s give it everything we´ve got!" He said before mixing the two chemicals.
"WAIT!"
Shuichi yelled in despair before being having his vision blurred by a large amount light.
