You never saw something like the Pokémon before you. They appeared mostly black, and like they were wearing some sort of mask over their head. They also bore lavender eyes and a fiery red pattern running from their midback down their tail. This creature looks like it's always plotting something, and it reeks of sulfur and poison. Thankfully you weren't close enough to witness the full extent of their foul winds firsthand, for a whiff of that corrosive air would've made you lose your free will. This Pokémon was, unbeknownst to you, a Salandit. It was also male.
"What are you doing so far away from the great queen?" he said.
"Queen?" you asked confused.
"Why do you say that like you don't know her? She's the queen! The grand, deity of my clan! And she demands all obey her! In fact, you're supposed to be meeting her about now," the Salandit said. The way he was talking sounded manic. You felt like if you followed him, you'd only find trouble. You needed to find some way to stop him.
