You were short. You looked like a tiny blue jackal with a black midsection, mask like facial markings, and feet. You were a fighting type, though you weren't too experienced with battle. Your parents were two Lucarios. You started to climb down the tree, and looked around the soil for signs of your parents. You then began to sniff the soil around the tree, trying to find your parents' scent. After enough sniffing, you started to smell something familiar. That had to be your parents.
You stuck low, and sniffed the trail as you crawled on the ground. You followed the scent as closely as you possibly could. Unfortunately, you followed the scent so closely, you began to crawl into the tall grass. You were so focused on the scent, you forgot your parents' warning about the grass. Pokémon loved to hide in here, lying in wait for some Pokémon to pounce on. Your parents warned you about these Pokémon eating up some unfortunate folks, and others kidnapping folks to drag them somewhere else.
Though, even if you did remember, you likely wouldn't have taken your parents' warning to heart as you tracked them down. You couldn't just leave them alone. They could be in danger! You kept close to the trail, sniffing up a storm as you crawled. Eventually, you began to pick up an unfamiliar scent. You weren't sure what it was, considering you didn't interact with other Pokémon often, if ever. You took your nose off the path and looked ahead, nose wrinkled in confusion. In front of you...
