She assumed that today would be just like every other day. Go to school, be ignored and forgotten, then come home. However, Teacher felt different. Almost as if she had gained something.
Teacher got dressed, wondering what was different about herself. When she was finally dressed, Teacher had her answer.
Teacher realized that she now had a power. She now had the power to change the size of anything or anyone.
"I can change the size of anything?" Teacher wondered. Wanting to see if it was true, Teacher looked at her bed. She held out her hand and imagined that was small, big enough for a doll. Teacher was surprised when she saw her bed shrink until it was big enough for a doll.
"My...My bed shrank!" she exclaimed. Teacher imagined that her bed was back to normal. Her bed quickly returned to its original size.
"I...I really can...change anything's size!" Teacher then remembered her wish that she made last night. "I wished for a way to get people to notice, and now I have this power."
She looked at herself for about a minute, then smiled. "This power will finally get people to notice me!"
