"Now what?" Katie keeps hearing the knocking. "Better check out and stop whatever is making that noise before my mom or Mitch show up." She grabs a side of her blanket and climbs to her bed.

Katie then reaches for her window and sees that the cause of the knocking was her boyfriend Jake, naked and small just like her. "Jake!?" She quickly tries to pull her window and the two are barely able to open a space for him.

"Jake, what happened to you?" Katie asks.

"I'm sorry, Katie. I think this is my fault." Jake replies, trying to calm.

Katie blushes and covers herself. "How about we talk in my bed? I feel embarrassed if we stay in my window."

The small teens walk back to Katie's bed and sit. "So, you were saying?" Katie asks.

"It's my fault." Jake says again. "After you left, my dad called and told me to not eat the fruit."

"And we have a winner." Katie thought. "Wait, that's good news."She replies. "If your dad knows about the fruit, maybe he can help us to get back to normal."

But Jake shakes his head. "It's not that easy, Katie. He's always busy with his travels and it barely gets him time to visit me, in fact, he was at the airport when he called, so you can imagine what that means."

"He's leaving again?" Katie groans. "At least, this might be temporary, right?"

Jake simply shrugged his shoulders. "He only told me to not eat the fruit, he didn't say more."

Katie meditated for a while. "Jake, does your father have a copy of his researches?"

"Yeah, he always makes a backup and leaves it at my place."

"And what about your stuff? Your keys and phone?"

"I was worried about you, so I left my phone, I shrunk on my way here, I hid my clothes and the keys in the bush in front of your neighbors house. The ones that have the twins."

Katie facepalms. "Of course, it had to be with the Andersons."

"Why?"

"Forget it, look, I have a plan. Since my family thinks I'm not here and you live on your own, I guess we can hide in your place until we find a cure or something."

"Okay, but do you remember I live at the end of the block? It will take us a while to get there." Jake admits.

"It's our only chance to be safe." Katie crosses her arms.

"You know, Katie. It's the first time I see you naked." Jake admits.

She blushes. "This isn't important right now, and since you have been my boyfriend for 5 years, I don't have a problem with it. So, you want to do it or not?"

"Wait, do it here?" He blushes. "I don't know, your parents are in the house."

"I'm talking about my plan." Katie giggles. "Geez, Jake." She laughs and cleans a tear on her eye. "I'm going to be honest, I'm lucky to have you next to me in this situation." She hugs him.

"Well, you are girlfriend and it is kind of my fault." But Jake stops talking as he feels something wet on his shoulder.

"I was so scared." Katie cries. "Mitch mistook me for a doll and everything is so big, I felt insignificant."

Jake calmed Katie and debates if they should keep going with her plan or give up and look her mother to help them.
