Just as you were about to decide where to look, your cellphone rang. It was your grandmother and head with, Ella Mist. "I apologize for calling you after just arriving home, my dear." Calmly, she said. "However, we have a rather bemusing situation at Cauldron Academy which we feel you and your mother should be made aware of."
You sighed. "Let me guess." Softly, you said. "Joe is there."
Ella giggled kindly. "He arrived here on a rather crudely built mechanical broomstick." Bemused, she said. "Apparently, he was looking for you."
You found yourself trapped between laughing at the fact Joe was at Cauldron Academy, likely a female student, and worrying at the fact he managed to build a mad science equivalent to a witch's broomstick. You turned to mom. "Joe is at Cauldron Academy, he somehow built a mechanical broomstick and flew there."
Mom winced. "Has 'she' been enrolled?"
You asked mom's question to which Ella replied. "Not as of yet. Joe at least had the sense to land, or rather, crash outside of school grounds." She giggled. "Unless we enroll 'her' Joe will need transport home as his crude flying machine has been destroyed in his crash landing."
You sighed, rolling your eyes then turned to mom, giving her the message. Mom too seemed trapped between laughter and worry.
