Joe jumped upon hearing mom's response. "She what?!"
"It's all a part of the training, Joeanna." Calmly, mom said. "Ina and Tia will also get their turn to be boys for a short while during their training."
"Don't call me that!" Irritable, Joe snapped.
"We're going to be turned into boys?!" Turning pale, Ina asked. "Ew!"
"You are not going to do that now, are you?!" Taking a step back, Tia demanded.
"I am tempted." Serious, mom said. "There are laws behind the use of magic."
"I was turned into a boy for a week during my one year of training, Joe." Serious, you explained. "It is to teach young witches what it is like to be transformed so they will think twice before toying with their male sibling on a whim."
"It does deeper than that though." Sitting down, mom said. "Witch born boys have impressive physical attributes, making them quite formidable if pushed." Turning to Ina and Tia, she added, "Joe is arguably the strongest boy in the state; add to that his chaotic blood and you get a person no witch would wish to see angry more than once."
Ina and Tia gulped, realizing what trouble they might be in with their new sister. "You wouldn't pummel us, would you, sis?" Worried, Ina asked.
"We're only seven." shaking, Tina added.
"The only crime you have committed is threatening to use magic in public." Sternly, mom said. "I am explaining this to you now to stop you from getting any bolder."
"The point is there is a balance in this household, Joe." Calmly, you said. "You are not the only one who will get transformed and made to do things suited for the opposite gender." You smiled then asked, "What do you say? Want to explore the life of a girl for a while?"
