"How soon can we take a tour of this Cauldron Academy?" Sighing, Joe asked.
You smiled, pleased that Joe was willing to at least consider witch school. "We can leave just as soon as we tell mom where we are going." Smiling, you said. "She will be pleased to hear you are interested in witch school."
"I'm curious, sis." Serious, Joe countered. "This school will really need to show me the wow factor to peek my interest."
You giggled. The 'wow factor' as Joe called it was elements that matched his likes and interests as well as his goals. "Let's tell mom then."
Mom, of course, was elated to hear Joe wanted to visit Cauldron Academy first and offered to make him his favorite meal of Lasagna upon their return. "Have fun, dear." Sweetly, mom said. "I wish to hear all about your visit when you get back."
You muttered the spell needed to take Joe and yourself to Cauldron Academy and braced yourself for the sudden shift of location. Only you forgot to warn Joe and he stumbled slightly as if he were suddenly dizzy. "That was weird." Panting, he muttered. "Warn me next time..."
"Sorry, bro." Bemused, you said. "Teleportation takes some getting used to. We're here."
It took Joe a moment to be able to look around. He and you were at the front gates of what looked like a normal private school campus. The entire property was surrounded by a tall stone wall with heavy iron gates that guard entrances on four sides. You and Joe were standing at the North gate where they welcomed visitors. A short thin woman in a guard uniform smiled at you upon seeing you and Joe appear. "Hello again, Gina." Kindly, she said. "What brings you back here so soon?"
"Hello again, Ms Harp." Kindly, you replied. "My brother Joe had recently received brochures from this school." You then frowned and softly added, "As well as one other."
Ms Harp nodded, pushing back her long black hair and Placed her green eyes onto Joe with a friendly smile. "We are pleased that you have chosen to visit our school first, young man." Remaining kind, she said. "Our school is far older and carries a long history of excellence." She then giggled and added, "Though you will be required to wear the visitor's bracelet at all times during your visit."
You giggled slightly, trying to hide your blush. "I nearly forgot..." You summoned a very curious bracelet embroidered with tiny images of flowers, ballerinas, high heels, and other feminine symbols and forced it onto Joe's left wrist. "Don't take that off until we are back home."
"What's this supposed to do other than embarrass me?" Blushing, Joe demanded.
"It's a magical device that protects you from the spells and enchantments that in turn protect those who come here to learn magic." Firmly but kindly, Ms Harp explained. "If you take it off before the end of your visit, you will become a girl, a witch, and a student at this academy for the full school year." She then smiled."Fell free to remove the bracelet at any time you feel this school is for you."
"Ms Harp!..." Gasping, you scolded.
Ms Harp shrugged, giving an innocent smile. "You can't blame a girl for trying."
You could only shake your head at that as the gates were opened and you lead Joe towards the visitor's building to sign him in for a tour. On the way there, you noticed that Joe was looking everywhere, taking in the sights. "One thing at a time, bro." Smiling, you said. "We need to sign in first before we can go wandering around."
