Okay, we could have just had the program shrink our clothes down with us, but Maria and I thought it would work to our advantage if we could make us being naked a fait accompli.

So this is how it worked (and I'll breeze over the boring parts). Our parents dropped us off at the Reality Cone place for a long weekend, where we had to go through a day's worth of medical examines, instructional briefings, liability forms, and legally binding assurances our privacy would be respected during our Reality Cone experience, and we didn't have to worry about anything we did being replicated for mass entertainment.

Finally we got to enter the reality cone, which had been set up to look like Mike's bedroom. You could tell Mike was puzzled, so as soon as the three of us were alone, he asked what was going on,

As one, Maria and I activated the program. We were both instantly shrank down to six inches.
