..a jolt of pain shot up your leg. Disoriented, you realized you were wedged deep inside the shoe, the plush lining offering little comfort for your squished form. The muffled sounds of your friend swearing and scrambling made it clear you'd made a colossal blunder.

Holding your breath, you stayed perfectly still, hoping the darkness would cloak your presence. You imagined the scenario unfolding outside: your friend muttering about misplaced shoes, maybe even searching briefly before retreating back into the tent.

The silence stretched, punctuated only by your own frantic heartbeat. Then, a sudden jerk – the shoe was lifted. You braced yourself for a painful drop, but instead, felt a gentle rocking motion. Maybe, just maybe, there was a chance you could sneak out unseen.

As the rocking increased, you realized she was walking. Each step sent a jolt through your cramped quarters. The journey seemed to last an eternity, your mind conjuring images of where she might be taking you. Finally, the rocking stopped.

Your friend was inside the tent, rummaging through her backpack, oblivious to your escape. Seizing the opportunity, you darted behind a pile of clothes, your tiny body barely visible in the dim light. Taking a deep breath, you hoped for the best, ready to spring into action if she came too close.
