It didn't take you very long to reach the campsite, but when you did, you saw a giant young man adding wood to the fire, poking it every once in a while with a stick to make sure it all burned well. From what you could tell, he was all on his own, so now you had a few options before you. You could try making contact with him, see if he would be willing to help you, but that would pose the risk of him not being trustworthy and mistreating you. Another option you had was to stay at the camp with him, but remain hidden from him until you were sure he could be trusted. This would have it's own risk of not only making sure you weren't discovered by him until you had your answer, but you would also have to make sure he didn't hurt or kill you unknowingly. And one last option you could think of would be to just move on and hope you could either find someone else who was more trustworthy, or that you could find your way back home where you knew it would be safe.
