Somewhere up above the PA speaker was announcing the final boarding call for your train. Two months....you had been planning this cross country trip to the western coast for two months, and you were in danger of blowing it all because you failed to charge your phone last night. Hence, you had no alarm, thus you had to suffer a mad scramble of showering, dressing yourself, double check luggage, redress yourself (Pants go OVER your underwear), double check tickets and paperwork, and pray to god traffic was light as you hailed a pricey taxi.
You thanked whatever gods that did or did not exist as you finally made your way onto the station platform. To the left was your train, gleaming in polished stainless steel and clean windows. A small smile graced your lips as you envisioned the comfy first class seats you had booked. Pulling yourself through a crowd of meandering humans and anthro's, you could just make out the bulldog train conductor standing in the train's doorway. The gray furred, white mustached canine had just placed a hand to his mouth to shout out the departure call, when suddenly...
"OOMPH!!"
In the blink of en eye, your body collided with something with enough force to send you tumbling to the ground with the grace and poise of an avalanche. Causing you to lose your bags, coat, and your dignity in that order. Clenching your teeth in agony, you delicately rubbed the spot on the back of your head which was surely forming a thick bump now. Tearing you from your pain filled thoughts however, was the sound of a voice who seemed to be in as much pain as you.
Oh shit...who did I hit?
You were still in too much pain to open your eyes, but the voice sounded...
