Good. Maybe he was Devin's friend after all.

The Mayor was fair, at least.. and he held himself up as a champion of the little guy. And he always tried to kept his promise. For a politician, this was a rare thing in deed.

"Devin!" The male red's voice boomed out from the office. Devin quickly moved to the arched doorway. "You need something, Val?"

Most Mayors in the past required others to use some sort of title of office when addressing, and Valareos did require such for official proceedings.. but during a normal day of business, he encouraged his workers to address him by a familiar... to remind everyone that he was still just a dragon like anyone else.

"Devin, I was supposed to get the documents for that land we acquiring for the hatchery expansion, but it seems their delivery agent is running late. I need you to find those documents and get them back here as soon as you can. I am wanting to close this deal by the end of the week."

Devin gave an enthusiastic nod. "You got it boss!" This was the main part of his duties, as a runner for the Mayor, a job he was rather good at. As he made his way out of the office, he saw a single wyvern handing out pamphlets to all that passed.
