Chapter #4

Letilla

    by: Goodvibes Author IconMail Icon
Letilla was bored, she sat down in cave, overlooking the canyon floor. It seemed that the travelers, merchants, and others of the South found a new route to go through. She cursed herself, she couldn't be that pessimistic, travel was just slow right now. Letilla stretched, her feet dangling out of the overlook. Maybe she shouldn't have given her cattle up. But they became too much of a hassle of when they got bigger.

Letilla placed her head into her hand, what could she do? Well, she could converse with her "sisters" for intellectual stimulation, and possibly for help. Hopefully they were still full enough to actually want to converse. If they were smaller, she would be hard pressed to have an conversation that didn't revolve around food. With that, Letilla sat up from her seat, looked down and jumped from her thirty story cave.

Ten or so Lamia were all over the floor, their rotund bodies were really spread out. Some were in the realm of possibility, others were mountains of flesh. Letilla grimaced at them, lucky for her weird blessing she had.

You see, unlike the other Lamia, Letilla didn't gain weight all around her body. Instead it focuses more on one area of her, her lower body. Special focus was on her rear end. Giving Letilla more flexibility in fitting in some area, her vampire strength allowing her to easily carry her weight. Some even called her "The Herald of Derrria", which she found most flattering. It did come with some downsides however, like the fact that if she stood up too fast, she could fall on her rump. The fact that birds mistook it as a perch. The fact that when merchants that even the Lamia couldn't overwhelm traveler traveled to the Catacombs, they saw her ass as a target. There were more, but that was,in her mind, the most grievous of downsides.

At the moment, Letilla's ass and hips were large, but not insanely large, yet. Her fae, almost beatific upper body, contrasting with the lower half of a well fed noble. With only a loincloth for decency, Letilla's rear jiggled for the Catacombs. Not that the residents cared, most Lamia were fine with nudity. A ass like that wasn't too strange, she was smaller than the other currently. Letilla went to the largest mountain of flesh, giving it a quick hip bump.

"Huh, Letilla. Pray tell what do you want?" It was Cassandra, the self proclaimed "Matriarch" of the lamia. Which she did back up, both because of her mind and rotundas size. Somehow keeping it, even in times of "famine".

"Matriarch, I politely incline that I may travel out to the world. Maybe I could find the source of our losing supply?"

Cassandra looked at Letilla, and smiled at her. "Well of course,we do need to do something about it, thank you for jogging my memory dear."

With that, Cassandra stood up, her true height equal to the biggest of Minotaurs. Letilla didn't flinch, she saw this too many times, besides if Cassandra wanted you dead at this range, you wouldn't even have time to react. Shambling off, Letilla watched Cassandra leave to her massive "palace-cave". Cassandra disappeared from sight, Letilla walked over and sat upon another lamia. That lamia felt Letilla and futility tried to knock her off, she was unsuccessful.

After a few minutes, Cassandra waddled her way to Letilla, gifting her a cloak.

"It'll protect from the sun my dear, don't worry about other articles of clothing, just wear the cloak. With that, I name you "Blood Mistress: Voice of the lamia", now go out and find out why the travelers haven't been coming. And bring them back to our home!" With that, Cassandra slumped back down into her torpor. Leaving Letilla with a cloak and her mission. She could explore the outside world, and maybe go look for why the Catacombs were loosing its merchants.
