Sam said to himself, “now that I made this small change I should try to make a bigger change. But what? Oh I know. I’ve always been really tall. I wonder what it would be like if I were the shortest roommate. I should definitely do it but I want to be noticeably shorter than Jake to see what it’s like & how everyone treats me. It would be interesting to see what it would be like to be shorter than Holly who is just 5 feet 1 on the cheerleading team. But that means I’ll have to be shorter than 5 feet 1. If I’m going to go that short why not shrink myself 3 feet to 4 feet 7. If I do that would mean even my youngest little 16 year old brother Joey would be absolutely tower over me at 5 feet 10. That would be weird but interesting. I think I’ll do it.”
Sam sat down at his computer & opened the program again. He pulled up his own profile & clicking on his height changed it to 4 feet 7. As he scrolled down he saw the options for the program to choose how reality changes to fit his new height. Or he could choose & be really specific on how reality changes. He then saw he could obviously choose who notices the changes. Sam clicked to let the program decide how reality changes & typed that he would be the only one to notice the changes. Sam then clicked apply immediately.
As soon as he clicked apply. The room & everything in it including the chair he was sitting in grew much bigger. Sam felt his feet lift off the floor. Sam looked down to see his feet were dangling over a foot off the floor as the chair was on the highest setting. Sam felt like he had been hit with some kind of shrink ray as he knew the room & everything in it didn’t grow but that he had shrunk proportionally. Just then there was a flash. Sam looked around to see everything was sized to him. The desk, his dressers, his bed, his sandals & shoes laying against the wall. The only thing that wasn’t was the desk chair that he was sitting in. It was the only thing that hadn’t changed at all. It was still set at the highest setting meaning his feet were still dangling over a foot off the floor.
Sam pulled the lever on the chair causing the chair to drop to the lowest level but found his feet were still not touching the floor by a few inches. Sam figured this was the smallest desk chair available so he would just go with it. Sam closed the program & locked his computer. Sam literally hopped off the chair & started looking around. Sam noticed something odd on the far wall where his football team picture & trophies had been. They were gone & in their place were powerlifting trophies & a powerlifting team picture. In the picture it was clearly evident that he was the shortest guy on the team but also pretty big & muscular as he still has the same physique just on a shorter, smaller scale. Sam could see he was far from being the biggest on the team as the tallest looked to be 6 feet 5 & had his same large fat belly but seemed to have a large muscular build. Most of the guys were really muscular with abs & large muscular pecs. Then his attention turned to his family pictures. The first one was of his brothers & himself on the beach taken earlier this past summer. However the picture is different than what he remembered it. Before he the tallest out of the three of them with Ian being a few inches shorter & Joey being the runt at 5 feet 10. Now Sam is the runt as he only comes up to Ian’s mid to upper abs & up the middle of Joey’s large impressive muscular pecs. They looked to be a bit bigger than Sam’s but harder. Joey even had an impressive 8 pack of rock hard abs. Ian is even bigger & more impressive. Ian has an even larger muscular physique. His 8 pack abs are even harder. His pecs are Huge! They are much larger, wider & more muscular than Joey’s. Even his arms are huge & muscular! Ian’s abs & pecs look bullet proof. Ian looks like he would be totally unstoppable on the football field. Ian & Joey look like they could easily dominate Sam & do whatever they want to him.
The next picture was of him, his brothers & parents. Sam looked absolutely short, tiny even compared to his parents as his Dad is the same height as Ian at 7 feet 5 & his mother being a few inches shorter at 7 feet 3. Sam’s Dad has the same large muscular physique with a large belly like Sam. His Dad looks so powerful & intimidating now. Even his mother looks powerfully built as she still has her large muscular athletic build from high school & college.
Sam walked back over to his computer. Sam unlocked his computer & pulled up the university football team roster as he said to himself, “I didn’t remove football from my profile. My football picture & trophies should still be here unless I’m not on the football team anymore & haven’t ever played football before. After scanning the roster Sam failed to find his name on it. Sam looked at the football team pictures on the university website to find he wasn’t in the picture at all. Looking at the picture closer Sam noticed that Matthew or as the guys on the football team call him Little Matt barely comes up to just below some of the taller guys Shoulders. Even on the average height guys Little Matt came up to about their nose. However compared to Ian & Ben who happened to be the two tallest on the team now he came up to just below their chest. Little Matt stood just 5 feet 4 but had a fairly good sized muscular physique as he works out nearly every day. Sam knew if he were on the team he would just be crushed by those behemoths. Sam also knew he would just look like some fat yet muscular midget that couldn’t keep up with the team. Sam then looked through his pictures on his social media accounts going back all the way to when he was a little kid. All of his pictures have been changed! Sam noticed his football pictures are gone as if he never played football. Sam noticed in all the pictures he looked absolutely short like a midget compared to his average height friends.
Sam locked his computer & stood up. Sam walked over to his door. As Sam approached the massive 8 foot door to the living room Sam felt even shorter. Sam pulled the heavy door open & walked in to…
