Chapter #6

Life isn’t always easy for Clyde

Clyde McGinty is seven years of age, and he had a chubby figure at 121lbs and stood at 4’2. He was one of the nicest kid so much in fact, he loved his parents so much. He is lovable by any means, however it doesn’t mean life had always been easier at the start. Throughout a year now, Clyde had suffered from bullying, which someone much bigger and older than him would take huge advantage in size comparison and makes fun of by any means.

Not only that though, but he received some beat downs, having his lunches or money being stolen, and everything else just to make the youngster have a bad life more than most would get. He was so upset for all of these things, his friends and adults would try to gives some comfort, but he wouldn’t budge and worried that this can and will happen to him again for the rest of his life.

It always a tough road for a seven year old, and Clyde was laying on his bed feeling emotional in tears that it’s a non-stop situation that always a huge concern. He’s also feared of going out which not only at school, but everywhere he gets treated to, so he feels so trapped in one place it seems. Clyde was still in tears of worry when he heard the door being knocked and opened to see it was her mother that came over to see him, looking so worried that things looking bleak for her only son.

“Hey there, son! Still feeling upset?” Clyde’s mother named Vickie wonders in great concern.

Clyde simply nodded and just watches as his mother sits on the bed and gives him a big hug for some big comfort on a little boy. Vickie knew how she felt as a mother to deal what is a very difficult situation, which she would tried everything to turn his life around, but to no avail. As of today, she has one solution which she feels it could be his last chance to turn it around, and she would hope this may be the one to help him have a better life.

“I know life isn’t so easy for you, but mommy’s got something which I’m sure this could make your life much better perhaps?” Vickie says whilst comforting his poor son.

“What is it, Mommy?” Clyde asked with emotional mood, which his thoughts still thinks it may be one of these things would not go in his favour.

“Well, I wanna ___________________, so I’m hoping you would get what you need.” Vickie responded.
