Trick Abel into doing something

by: Kiriko Izuyu Author IconMail Icon
The extent to the effects of the game were nebulous but the possibilities ran infinite in your head. You were still gamer after all. No shame in learning all the tricks and exploits before diving in yourself. Still the ask had to be something big enough that the results could be easily tracked. "Hey Abel, you want to make a bet?"

Abel gave you another queer look, but is interest was certainly piqued, "Oh? Rare for you to take the initiative for a dare."

"It's simple: I give you 25 dollars if you do your chores around the house..."

"Is that all?" He couldn't help but let out a guffaw.

"AND... you have to wear your mom's high heels the whole time." You added with a challenging gusto.

"What? Why?"

"I'm not paying you just to the thing you're already supposed to do." You countered defensively, "Not much of a dare if it's something so plain.

Abel thought for a moment, "Make it fifty and you got a deal."

"Alright, deal." You called, walking to check his mom's room. His mom had a number of shoes, quite a few simple business pairs. Then a pair of tall stilettos caught your eye:
[Fancy Stilettos - +5 charm, +10 femininity, increased difficulty of skill checks involving dexterity]
'Perfect.'

"I can't believe you want me to do this." Abel said as he took the heels from you.

"What I want is to see you trip and fall over. You're getting fifty dollars, I get a laugh." You teased.

Abel put on the heels and reluctantly and carefully made his back to his room to start cleaning. The two of you made light conversation, talking about stuff you saw online, school and what not as he worked while you kept an eye on his stats.
His experience and work was slow at first, until you noticed why: Abel had the title [Slob] attributed to him that was slowing his level ups in these skills on top of making him go slower.

You tried to subtly give him some advice, trying to take advantage of the Trusted Friend ability to improve his progress. Abel, in spite of his reluctance started taking your advice and soon after, his Slob title disappeared. This caused a cascade effect of level ups in his cleaning skills, which then spiraled into his improved affinity rank with heels.

You were surprised with how clean the room actually ended up being, like life had somehow returned to a desolate land. Abel himself seemed rather pleased with the results too. Still, the bet wasn't technically over yet: He got to work on the dishes, dusted the place down, took out the trash, he was even up for cooking a little something for lunch. It was such a huge turn around for him, especially as you got a final look at his stats.

The various housekeeping skills he'd developed had given him the Job, [Homemaker] and the heels had seemingly skewed his growths, as his dexterity massively improved and his femininity went all the way to 25, 35 with the heels. Already you could see the results: Abel was no longer as broad shouldered and while strength had stayed the same, his muscles looked more flexible and toned then bulky and burly. His affinity with heels had skyrocketed all the way to a B rank, and women's clothing had went to a D rank.

"Dang, dude. I'm impressed. You really got it all done."

"Yep, now you owe me-"

"Fifty dollars." You replied handing the better sum of bills from your wallet. "I'm surprised you can walk so well in those. Mind if I ask how are they?"

Abel grew silent for a moment, "Look, don't tell anyone but, not too bad."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah, it sucked to start but they kind of grew on me, weirdly enough."

"Wow, that's cool. I mean, wearing those can't be easy. You earned that bet. Don't worry I won't tell anyone."
Just then, a screen popped open:
[Relationship with Abel improved! Unlocked the ability "Confidant" - The more secrets you and Abel share, the more experience bonuses you receive.]
Sweet.
