The two older people looked down at their new combatant. They were one of the "coaches" of the SGG or Slave Gladiatorial Games. This was a fighting tournament the world began holding to keep down the number of slaves, raising the prices. The coaches would buy a slave and train her to fight, to the death. If a woman was able to win enough matches she would be freed. In truth the arena and coaches made sure no girl survived long enough to win but if a girl made it to her final match the coach would be able to pick their next fighter paid for by the league. If said girl made it she would be either handicapped, put in a suicide mission fight, or if she somehow made it through they would take her to a secluded room and kill her so that the slaves and the people would think she was freed into the world. Giving hope to the hopeless fighters and hopeful freed women. All men knew of this but no one mentioned it to their wives.
This couple had made billions on their girls. Their secret was a steroid that could only be used two times before poisoning the user. Since the girls had to made it though three fights like ancient gladiators on their most crucial fight they would become increasingly sick and be picked off by a new slave trying to get free.
