As Ruby slept the afternoon away, the tip of her nose developed a red spot and it was slowly growing. It slowly crawled down her face, turning her neck red. Once it reached the top of her head, her eyes turned a grayish pink and her hair was given a slight red shade. As the red got to her navel, she started to feel a sudden tingling on her skin that started to bother her. She opened her eyes and started scratching her arm, but the tingling didn't stop. "It there a bug on me? I'm just trying to sle-" Just as she was about to finish speaking, she noticed what had happened to her, she ran, or rather used her semblance to fly to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw that her whole face was a shade of red. She saw that her neck and hands were also red and decided to strip down to her under garments and cape. She was absolutely awestruck, her whole body was a crimson red, "What the?! How did I become like this?" Then it hit her, "The gum...that's what did this to me, but why did it just turn me..." Her question was interrupted by a low gurgling coming from her stomach, Ruby clutched her stomach out of fear, "What's happening now?"
