"Not really." Blake said though she had to guess it was a lie based on how she was busy looking through her notebook on their biggest case yet. "I don't think it clashes with your look. And please don't say that out loud."
"Sorry, just wasn't sure if you were listening." Ruby was walking a little faster especially when she saw the building of the school up ahead. "There it is, Beacon Academy. This would be an awesome place to go into, there's like so many fun things to do."
"I dunno, it looks big though. There's got to be a hundred students in there, your sister included, all potential witnesses if we're gonna find out how people keep disappearing." Blake always looked like she was focused as she took a pen out of her pocket to take notes with her eyes glancing up at the school.
"Yep, then that means we should split up and find some clues without losing track of time. Message me if you find something cool."
"Ruby, wait!-" Blake watched the junior detective rush right past the front gate of the school with determination in her veins. Her partner sighed and shook her head. "You better be safe there, and don't get in trouble."
Unfortunately Ruby had no idea that she was going to indeed get in trouble and that all started when she decided to investigate...
