"Nice dive Kris!" Ms. Mercury shouted at Kris. Kris was pleased with herself as the skinny girl behind her managed to get the ball to the girl next to Kris and made the winning point for them.

"Good work." The girl next to her said giving her a high five. The girl, her chubby face covered in sweat, looked pleased at their performance. "Cool. The skinny girl said giving both Kris and the other girl a high five as well.

"All right. Now everybody come here please." Ms. Mercury asked them and the three other girls from the other side of the field to join them.

"I was glad to see your performance. I can see some of you having real talent and the potential of real talent. So if you all agree I like to make you our new team." Kris and the other girls looked at each other and nodded. They weren't that bad with each other, so that made the decision easy to make.

"Fine, you can take a shower if you like or you can go off if you want to." Ms. Mercury told the girls. The three girls from the opposing team in the practice match all chatted happily away while going to the shower room. The chubby and skinny girl Kris played with were packing up their stuff to go home.

Kris could probably join one of them to get to know each other better. Or she could go see Ms. Mercury. Ms. Mercury walked back to her office after her announcement.
