Nothing seemed to have happened and Penny gave a disappointed pout and sighs like she expected nothing to happen.
"Haaaa~ Well, another fake spell book to add to my collection, I wonder what that spell would've done? All these words are in some kinda weird language,
but at least the letters are in English...." Penni thought
But then the glow around her neck started to shine brighter, and Penni started to notice.
"Huh?.....Is my neck....glowing!?..."
Penni tried rubbing her neck to see if the glow would rub off, but to no avail.
As she rubbed on the glowing part of her neck, She took out a hand mirror to see what's happening with her neck because it felt like a line was slowly forming.
Penny felt it, but couldn't believe what she was seeing..a small gap was forming between her head and body.
"Wh-what's going on, what IS this!?" The brown haired girl exclaimed aloud, her panic escalating.
The next thought in her head was the scariest thought she ever had.
"Am I about to be decapitated!? N-no, there's no way right? RIGHT But how!? GASP! THE SPELL BOOK!"
Penny couldn't get the thought out of her head as the line grows longer and longer.
She desperately looks at the spell and tries to make any sense of the text to stop the process.
"I- I gotta stop this!..But all these words are gibberish!!!"
Penny kept looking back at the hand mirror and the spell book but couldn't figure anything out.
The line felt like a timer that was counting down to zero.
Penny's eyes widened as the line connected on both ends completing the circle around her neck.
"NO!!!!"
Closing her eyes, Penny was waiting for the inevitable......but nothing happened....the glow disappeared and only left some faint scribbles on her neck
"N-nothing happened......haha.....oh thank god....I thought I was a goner....."
Penny looks at the spell book with curiosity, poking it like it was a wild animal reaching to pick it up.
"Ok then spell book, you gave me quite a scare, but time to go-"
Penny then felt a very peculiar sensation on her neck as her vision is slowly shifting
"home....now?..."
Her vision then shifts dramatically as she somehow faceplants into the book she's holding eventhough she's still standing.
By reflex she also drops the book and suddenly it looks like the room is spinning.
"OW! OW! OWWW!" She felt her head going up and down and hitting the nearby bookshelf.
Penny notices that she stopped spinning but to her surprise for some reason...she can't pull herself up.
"Wh-why can't I get up?.....and why does everything look....bigger!?"
But the next thing she sees leaves her in a state of shock...a body with no head slumped down, holding a book, and wearing the same clothes Penny was wearing....Penny's realizes something truly disturbing....
"IS THAT....IS TH-THAT.......IS THAT MY BODY!?!?!?!? "
Penny stared wide-eyed at what should be impossible, her head was somehow separated from her body. She asked herself several questions
"H-how am I there!? HOW am I still alive!? This can't be happening! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!!"
Trying to get up, Penny is hoping that since she's a living disembodied head, she can still control her body,
Penny's freaks out to see that her body is somehow getting up, but realizes....
