You wake up one morning to find yourself bodiless. What will you do?

You hear your own voice call out

"Hello! Is anyone there?" you hear in a familiar voice. You quickly run to find it. It must hear you and keeps calling.

"Over here!" the voice of yours calls out from underneath a small table. You bend down and discover your head.

"Is that... my body?" your head asks in shock looking at you.

My head is alive and normal? you think.

"Well, why wouldn't I be? I'm the head" it responds.

Wait, you can hear me think?

"I guess so. That's handy. Can you, uh, pick me up?"

You then grab your head and pick it up. You then sit down on the sofa and set your head in your lap.

This is strange. I would think if I'm headless like this that I would be the head.

"Well, I am the head. I guess our personality split into both pieces whenever this happened"

Speaking of which, how are we like this?

"I have no clue. I just woke up underneath there without a body. Could you try putting me back on?"

Without a second thought you move to reattach your head to its rightful spot. However it just falls back off and into your lap.

"Well, I guess we're stuck like this." your head says in an annoyed tone.

What should we do?
