"You must be brave as hell, or retarded as hell, to just enter my turf like that, little human..." A growly angry, but slightly feminine tone suddenly reached your ears from behind, making you instantly turn towards it...
Behind you was about 2 meter tall humanoid monster girl, she had red colored skin and absurdally long white hair tied in a ponytail. It wasn't long before you could also feel the smell of alcohol coming from her... there was no doubt, it was a red oni. She wore simple clothing made out of animal skins, which did little more than just cover her large breasts, and her genitals, as well as a belt wrapped around her waist, with a few small bottles, presumably of alcohol attached to it. She was also barefoot... without a doubt her feet were far from clean if she was walking a lot in those mountains...
"Whatcha staring at so much? Never seen an oni before?" The red oni said, walking slowly closer to you with her fists prepared to punch your lights out, or worse.
"I-I didn't know it was your cave! I will just leave in a moment if you let me!" You say, knowing that you stand no chance against the oni in this situation, it would end up with your beaten up and enslaved at best, and dead at worst.
"Hmph, you clearly aren't brave. Retarded it is then I guess... And why would I let ya go? You are an intruder in my home, that needs punishment." The red oni said, not stopping her slow approach towards you.
You desperately keep trying to remember if you ever heard of some way of dealing with oni...and through that, a certain conversation you overheard at a tavern comes to your mind. There was an old adventurer telling his friends about how he once challenged an oni in a cave to a drinking contest, won, and stole her treasure... he didn't mention how did he do that though. Still, better try that than nothing...
"W-wait! Can't we solve it in a different way? Like a drinking contest!" You propose as you suddenly feel a wall behind your back... you can't back out any further
"Huh? Now you are speaking my language!" The oni said in her growly voice, while suddenly starting to grin, showing rather impressive sharp fangs she had... oni sure liked their booze it seems, though after a moment the red woman continued "You seem like a lightweight, should be easy win to me."
"And if I win, you will let me go?" You ask, just to make sure
"Sure, you also get to take all the treasure I gathered in this cave. I wouldn't be so eager if I were you girlie, I never lost a drinking contest to a human yet! So you better get ready for the upcoming year!" The oni said standing before you, and taking a swig out of a small bottle she had attached to her belt
"Get ready for the year?" You ask confused, not sure what the oni meant
"You challenged me without knowing the rules? You really are a dumb one, aren't ya? When human and oni get into drinking contest, oni bets the ownership of her stuff, while human bets his or her freedom for the next year. To put it simply for ya, you are gonna be my slave." The oni said, looking at you and still grinning
Perhaps it wasn't such a good idea after all... it's too late to go back on your words now though. You can try to just flee of course, but if the oni catches you then, you can be sure it's gonna end up even worse for you than if you just stayed quiet earlier.
