Perhaps it wasn't wise to try recruiting people for your cause when you are not properly equipped, but fact of the matter is that you have very limited money at the moment, definitely not enough for a good set of armor and weapons. Perhaps if you found some companions they would help you out financially as well.
It doesn't take you long to locate a tavern, it's easy to spot thanks to already having a few obviously drunk people outside of it, despite it still being morning...
You pass next to those, not paying much attention to them, and walk inside. The place is actually not too shabby despite the few drunks outside. Due to the early hour however, there aren't many people you would take in mind when considering your choices for potential companions in your quest.
First person to catch your eye was a beautiful red haired female in an armor, she was sitting at one of the tables and eating what seemed to be strawberry cake... despite that rather innocent choice of food however, there was certain scary aura emanating from her that made you feel like she isn't someone to be messed with. You decided to quickly look somewhere else, not wanting to annoy her by staring blankly.
Before noticing your second choice, you actually spotted what seemed to be a big white tiger standing near one of the tables, it was only a moment after that you noticed there was actually someone near that animal. To your surprise the person near it was actually a catgirl! She was wearing rather strange yellow colored outfit. She had beige colored shoulder length hair, with visible cat ears, for some reason however, it didn't seem like she had a tail... unless she kept it under her clothes for one reason or another.
Either way, of all the guests in the tavern, pretty much only those two stood out as capable to help you in your quest... you can try approaching one, or perhaps just sit alone and wait if someone else won't come by?
