As you lay down behind the table you wonder how close the vampire might be, however you cant seem to hear anything anymore. You position yourself, so that you can take a quick peek from the hole in hopes that you will see the vampires on their way out.
However as you move your eye to the hole you hear something haunting, almost as a whisper carried in the wind. There is nothing to be seen at the fire, could it really be true? did you really make it past a group of the monster queens elite guard??. These thoughts are calming and you decide that it would be a wise choice to move onwards into the hold.
As you turn your face away from the hole, you're met by a pale face with a huge grin on its face. The eyes shining crimson red with excitement and joy. In terror you push yourself against the table as much as you to create some distance. However this makes the vampire laugh hysterically while moving closer to you.
"what a fine prize that i've found" said the vampire seductively.
"Now tell me... What could a fragile human like yourself be doing at a dark and scary place like this?" The vampire grinned.
