Deciding that making your way to the city of Galdaran would be the best option, your head towards the woods, intent on trying to cut through them and make it out before dark. Despite the warnings of monster girl activity in the forest, you were confident that you should be able to handle yourself, and you were in fact eager to test yourself. What better way than to try and deal with these brigands before making it to the city. If you were lucky, you should even have a tale or two to tell for when you get there.
The forest itself was as grim and dark as the local tales suggested, and despite your earlier bravado, you felt your courage waning a bit as you stare into it's dark depths. Still, your determination ultimately won out as the thought of turning back like a coward at the first sign of trouble helped stoke the flames of your bravery enough to step forward into the dark. Thankfully the sun was high in the sky, casting decent light even within the darkness of the woods, and the road itself was still reasonably visable despite years of neglect. Provided nothing stood in your way, you should be able to make it through in only a few hours...
