Blake continued to jump and wave for his Asian classmate's attention, but all seemed lost when the tiny mage was scooped up with a forkful of lettuce. Just when he braced for death, Blake was surprised to see the fork stop its course towards Indigo's mouth. The blue-clad girl's dark eyes widened as she laid them on the black-haired tiny boy.
"Blake..?" Indigo reacted. "Is that you? What were you doing in my salad?"
"I can explain..." Blake replied nervously. "I'm a mage. I made a deal with ghosts to impress Aria, but their gift of durability came at a price -- my size. Aria mistook me for a bug, and Ruby found me and tried to use me to prank you..."
